Elizabeth Watt

Since joining IP Pragmatics (Wellspring) in 2024, Elizabeth’s consulting work has spanned valuation, market research, competitive intelligence and strategy projects for corporate, university and public sector clients. She has a particular focus on human health, with experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and consumer health, as well as projects in cleantech and industrial technologies. Elizabeth is also a co-author of Wellspring’s white paper on the facial injectables market and its intellectual property landscape.

Prior to joining IP Pragmatics, Elizabeth worked in consulting and M&A, where she developed a due diligence framework for assessing potential acquisition targets across areas including intellectual property, competitive positioning, financial performance and management capability. She also worked alongside venture capital partners to support the technology transfer and commercial development of an early-stage cleantech company.

Elizabeth has a First Class Honours BSc in Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science and a Distinction MSc in Medical Biotechnology and Business Management from the University of Warwick.
